Today Abby (my big little sister) showed me her blog. It was very cool. I especially liked her reference to Mr Salt.
Not much else happening. Oh, a bunch of us at work have started (well, today was the first) going for walks at lunchtime. I think this is a really cool idea, initiated by Melissa. I walk pretty slowly, though! Oh well, I can change.

Heather pointed out that I mis-spelled "glitches" in my previous post...she then decided that gliches should be a separate concept, glichés, (computer errors that occur over and over again), and coined the term with Pseudodictionary. Tee hee.
I was going through my wardrobe yesterday (trying to clean it out but not being able to force myself to throw out as much stuff as I really should), and I discovered that I have over a dozen dresses, and at least as many skirts. All of them are very lovely, but I hardly ever wear dresses. Judging by the number of times I wear a dress, I think most of them would be lucky to get a wear a year. I wear skirts a bit more often (particularly the slinky soft ones that manage to be clingy without making my ample frame appear lumpy, and look equally at home at the beach or as evening wear), but so many! On the other hand, I wear pants about 90% of the time, and I have only about 6 pairs of pants that are any good (3 work pairs, a pair of jeans, and 2 pairs of miscellaneous pants).
Writing this down now, I am appalled at how much clothing I own! I guess the reason for this is that I am an op-shopper from way back, especially when I was a uni and didn't have much money. Now that I am working full time, the op-shopping continues unabated, but I am also buying new clothes every now and again. I have a cult-like attachment to particular garments (such as the grey and white speckled silk and wool Saba jumper I'm wearing now - It's toasty and warm, and cost me about $2.00 second hand) so I wear them until they wear out, and then often I can't bear to throw them out. Result: piles and piles of clothing.
I'm going to (bf) Craig's high school reunion in a couple of weeks: he's been out of school for 5 years this year. This freaked him out. I've now been out of school for 6 years (yeah, I'm a whole 2 months older than him, just call me Mrs Robinson) which is also a bit peculiar. No-one from my school seems to have been bothered organising a large scale reunion. This is probably understandable, because there were about 180 people in my year at school, and apparently only 32 in Craig's year, so organising a reunion for us would be quite a large undertaking. Or maybe they did have a reunion and didn't invite me. *Paranoia* Tee hee. I don't think I'd mind that much, I was a total drop-kick in high school, so I'd prefer not to be remembered in that way, anyway!

We've been having a bunch of computer gliches, lately, which have resulted in me writing the same thing lots of times. This is frustrating and impinges quite a bit on the creative process! Actually, I don't know if 'creative' really sums up the process that well. ;-P
I've been doing a lot of overtime lately, because there's a big recode going on. More money is good. Less sleep is bad. I'm not good with the cold, and it's been pretty cold here lately (it being winter and all) and I don't have enough discipline to get me out of bed at the appropriate time. Usually the appropriate time plus 30-45 minutes, and then I scurry around looking for something that doesn't need ironing, or at least doesn't look like it's been sat on.
